Probably some confusion...

I think we were talking about 2 different subject at the same time. On floating point, I agree that compiler tricks will bring out the best of Conroe. I was kind of doubting that compiler tricks can do much to take advantage of the 4th integer pipeline. The CPU is on its own there, IMO.
