That is the question, why did they spike right before they went private.. Could be many reasons, the most likely one is that they were buying back and retiring shares.. Thereby increasing the value of the remaining shares. Everything is relative. Now go drill into that thing and take a look at the volume that was involved, it was very small. 200 shares here, 1200 shares there... They probably had a very small O/S at the time.
The reality is that spike is not the number that realistically represents the value of the company today, especially after they manufacture a million shares to give to us in trade for our WGIH shares.
