Catalyst not always needed for selloff. What was catalyst for gold mini crash that happened last few weeks.

I think one of these days we will just gap down and go down.
That's why I don't trade spy much, it is better to trade vix than spy. Because vix cannot go to zero or infinity. So it is a boxed trade, it can go down so much before it reverses and we have already crossed that zone.Now they need to keep vix at these levels for more rally, however, vix is not static, it must move as fear cannot suppressed for long time.
