I really don't blame you however, you just fall in that large majority category that ALLOWED America to fail, drop by trickling drop. A pure Republic was watered down to nothing by your failure to recognize the evil men did in your name. It was a creeping insurrection and surreptiously incremental gain that happened in your generations. So sneaky as to be hardly recognizable.

In my children's era they are not even pretending too hard to be out for what they always coveted. Control over the entire world and it's people and resources.

Not your fault directly. Somehow you were hoodwinked and never grew out of that by really giving the evidence a fair shot.

All ya hafta do is look at the record of events and changes in the legal landscape (law) that occurred in the heyday of your youth.
