"Hospitals see surge of superbug-fighting products"

"Some experts say there's not enough evidence to show the machines are worth it. No national study has shown that these products have led to reduced deaths or infection rates, noted Dr. L. Clifford McDonald of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

"His point: It only takes a minute for a nurse or visitor with dirty hands to walk into a room, touch a vulnerable patient with germy hands, and undo the benefits of a recent space-age cleaning.

"Environments get dirty again," McDonald said, and thorough cleaning with conventional disinfectants ought to do the job."

The above sentiments, from some in the medical community, would tend to confirm the modest market growth projection from Frost & Sullivan as mentioned in the FOX article

Quote: "The market niche is expected to grow from $30 million to $80 million in the next three years, according to Frost & Sullivan, a market research firm.

Currently Medizone has none of the U.S. market(no regulatory approval to enter the commercial market)

Do hospitals want to buy?

Based on a 2012 survey, conducted by Medizone, preferably NO!

10-Q June 30, 2012: "In recent developments based on potential customer surveys for both the veterinary and hospital sectors, the service model appears to be a preferred choice."

To date minimal equipment purchases, from service model company C3(canada), does not confirm that there is even any great service model demand

NO PROVEN HAI REDUCTION DATA FROM MEDIZONE!

Then there is the ~90 minute hospital room treatment time versus 15 minutes for Pulsed-Xenon Ultraviolet Room Disinfection

There is the issue of GASEOUS chemical (Ozone/H2O2) treatment versus no chemical treatment(pulsed or constant UVC Ultraviolet Room Disinfection) IN A HOSPITAL ENVIRONMENT

Also....MEDIZONE HAS NOT BEEN GRANTED FDA/EPA APPROVAL TO SELL INTO THE U.S.

Above are just some of the reasons as to why Medizone is still trying to claw it's way out of "soft launch"

Market growth projections from Frost & Sullivan(fox article) do not support the market acceptance/penetration DREAMS, indulged in by some, since 2008.
