GreenOwner,
O.R. suites WILL be decontaminated with each procedure. Emergency rooms will probably be done during mid-day when traffic is slow and they can isolate the areas and still maintain a few open rooms.
I hope they would use it every procedure but very unlikely. The O R before ASure has a build up of its target species. The inital ASure run knocks them out to 6 Log, that is every surface, then incomes the personal and patient with items to do the procedure the O R is 6 Log sterile
that 's ASure job done, no one can expect ASure to clean what comes in after of coarse.
The build up of target species will not get to a high level for sometime maybe at the end of the day when another run would take place, this could be slightly quicker.
The hospital could sell its " sterile O R " to patients on a cost plus basis whenever the patient is so concerned about HAI then it would be used before their procedure.
IMO
