I submitted a link to an article that spoke about the fda giving preferrential treatment to new antibiotics due to superbugs threat but did not mention mzei by name wont be posting it again but heres part of it. What might help Gilman's company and similar ones solve the problem is aid from Congress. A law referred to as the Gain Act (Generating Antibiotics Incentives Now) went into effect last year. Its provisions include priority review by the FDA with increased government funding.
