I followed a couple other smaller startups about a year ago. One supposively had ties with Sprint although I could never confirm this but it was interesting that they mentioned Sprint coverage where WiFi/VOIP was not available.

I've worked in the wireless industry for over 15yrs. This is a product/technology that has the potential to save carriers billions of $$ while also making mobile/wireless services even cheaper for consumers.
