Like in most blogs and PR you have to read more than the headline to get the details.
Once you understand how the app eco-system works, its fairly easy to find the stats, 8 places is not a big deal when you consider how many apps and catagories exist.
I don't agree with your analysis of the headline or blog, its very accurate for those who actually read it.
If you only read the headline you won't understand much, I recommend everyone read the entire official blog or PR when doing DD on this or any other company and not going off anonymous posts on iHub...also feel free to email the company directly like most real shareholders do.
Luckily we have people like Storm who can explain things to those who decide not to read the full blog.
Apparently many people are interested in MRNJ since there is so much discussion going on recently, and thousands of people daily use their products. Heck we are discussing MRNJ on a Saturday..Nice!
Nearly all the apps have to be updated to work on the latest phones, and if you understood how hard and expensive that is to do, you wouldn't make those statements, and that in-cahoots theory was brought up before.
Most popular MRNJ app enjoy high ratings and customers have shown their support by their wallet, so whatever a random review site says, really doesn't matter.
All the ranks are 100% legit and verifiable, no one is gaming the system, Apple doesn't allow it.
I know its hard to beleive to those used to pinkland but MRNJ is doing well and growing fast, hostile shareholders would actually make more by supporting the comapny.
