ergo sum -- nor fear here -- in the present, beyond just the interest I have in such things, much more a sense, akin to taking in the moment, born of the realization that we, as we have been, are now living the last of the good old days, as in the days when we, for better or worse, were the most capable life-form here -- and an element of anticipation, as I am one who will seek, not as a test subject but as things are developed and proven, to join and merge with, to the extent I may have that opportunity
