mrkool. it was said when we filed the first suits we were gonna fly when the irst one settles etc. Then when that didn't happen and people were upset management stated well the first one got a deal but the others were gonna pay more. ANd the longer they waited the more they would pay too. Guess what. That didn't happen and in fact the almost exact opposite happened when the largest CE company in our sites, Samsung, settled they paid much less than the actual average of round 1 and they settled last too.

Then round 2 came along and oh this time it we learned from our mistake mamangement said and round 2 was gonna be bigger settlements and the guess what. The truth was the average of round 2 was a lot less than the lowest settlement of round 1. And some got let off the hook completley.

Now we have reexamined patents that are less broad and as evidenced we are seeing the 774 patent only claims against Apples macbook pros and not the iphones or Ipods or ipads. So to me it appears the 774 patent has been weakend. Just read the apple claims regarding 774. plus the past suits settlements say to me our patents are not that integral to the products we are suing.

Laslty what I do know is I invested in this in 1999 at 2.42 then I bought more as the year went on up to as high as about 3.60. Watched the global standard jump to 24.5 and then drop consistently pretty much after that to our low of about .03 recently to now about .16 So I for one am not going to be all excited about claims of this and that having watched this for 14 years.

In regards to my sword comment if Sandisk takes this to trial then I would assume their experts Msystems past engineers feel pretty good about their chances and if that is the casethe past msystem engineers are tops in this flash field and I feel it wont bode well for us. Plus I do not have much faith in nunchi as it's been available and shown to enough industry people it should have garnered some interest by now.
