It appears that the changes in the amended 10Q were because some of the headings that should have read "six months" were "three months" and vice versa.

This Amendment No. 1 on Form 10-Q/A to the Quarterly Report of Xun Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended November 30, 2012, which was initially filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) on January 15, 2013 (the “Original Filing”), is being filed to make revisions to certain items of the Original Filing. Specifically, Item 2, MANAGEMENT'S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL CONDITION AND RESULTS OF OPERATIONS of Part I of the Original Filing have been amended to correct the disclosures, in particular Revenues, whereby the November 30, 2012 quarterly report reflects the disclosures for the three month quarter and the six month period ended November 30, 2012 compared with the three month quarter and the six month period ended November 30, 2011. There were other corrections that referred to three months ending November 30, 2012 and November 30, 2011 which were corrected to read six month period ended November 30, 2012 and six month period ended November 30, 2011, as well, where applicable, three months were corrected to read six months.

In addition, pursuant to Rule 12b-15 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, as a result of this Form 10-Q/A, the certifications pursuant to Section 302 and Section 906 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, filed and furnished, respectively, as exhibits to the Original Filing have been re-executed and re-filed as of the date of this Form 10-Q/A and are included as Exhibits 31.1, 31.2, 32.1 and 32.2 hereto, therefore Item 6 of Part II of the Original Filing has also been amended in particular Exhibits 31.1 and 31.2 correcting "three" months to "six" months.

Except as expressly provided above, this Amendment No. 1 on Form 10-Q/A speaks as of the date of the Original Filing, and no other information in the Original Filing is amended hereby. The Company has not updated the disclosures contained in any item thereof to speak as of a later date. All information contained in this Amendment No. 1 on Form 10-Q/A is subject to updating and supplementing as provided in the Company's reports filed with the SEC subsequent to the date on which the Original Report was filed.
