FNMA Chief Financial Officer David C. Benson:

On February 21, 2013, Federal National Mortgage Association appointed David C.Benson, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective as of the first day following the filing of the company's annual report on
Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2012. Mr. Benson will succeed Susan R. McFarland as Fannie Mae's Chief Financial Officer. Once he becomes Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Benson will cease serving as the company's Executive Vice President#Capital Markets, Securitization & Corporate Strategy, a position he has held since September 2012.
Mr. Benson previously served as Fannie Mae's Executive Vice President#Capital Markets from April 2009 to September 2012. He also served as Treasurer from
June 2010 to January 2012.
