Folks, so here is what is exactly going on: Article Link listed below
Past press released indicated this : According to European Plastics News, the European market volume for
flexible packaging is approximately 3.6 million tons, which is worth approximately €20 billion. Italy represents 25% of this market
volume at approximately 900,000 tons per year.
Now in the latest press release, it estimates 500 million Italy and a lot of people say that before they mentioned 5 billion(25% Italian market) and now 500 million. The reason is because the enforcement in Italy is mainly on the food sector as of now.
“The goal is to make sure that the bags are biodegradable and compostable are used mainly in the food sector,” said Clini, “thus helping to reduce the production of waste.”
So Cerp is getting all the customers it can, and they are clamming the right amount of REV they could pull of this, between 5 million to 120 million, but estimating to 50 million. Also hiring 7 salesperson , means they have a lot of opportunity on their doors. Also they mentioned the commission structure, saying they only get paid if they bring in sales, so just think about, those sales people are working their hardest in achieving sales :)
