I do not think edig is suing Sandisk over their flash memory media. At least I hope they have more sense than that. For years we have seen e.digital mention Sandisk in their PR and other writers have also because many of the products edig created or were part of used or supported Sandisks flash memory. Sandisk, IBM and others have created flyers, ads and even banners listing the companies that support their products. This is most likely what you saw.

What I would assume edig is suing Sandisk over is their Sansa Music player and any other device they make that use flash memory and not the memory itself. Often times this gets confused on the boards.
