With the Common law, a death requires a death.

Even stealing was considered a capital crime.

Think horse theft and cattle rustling.

The recidivism rate was at least zero.

Limited liability STEALS responsibility for one's actions from the individual.

Why did they institute this?

Ummmmm, look to corporatism for any such answer.

No one can be held "PERSONALLY" responsible.

I think it's become crystal clear the incremental moves toward not being held accountable for damn near nutin' unless you are considered "nutin". Then you pay with your labor.
