No one would agree more than I that our society has subverted the true meaning of Christmas and substituted excessive materialism in its place. I am not speaking from a theological perspective as much as I am expressing a strong "anti politically correct" position and a strong "anti secular humanist" position. If the holiday we are celebrating is Christmas, call it Christmas -- stop trying to substitute other names for it just to erase Christ from Christmas.

Meanwhile, all the merchants sing "What a friend we have in Jesus".....
