re: offside...if a defender goes over the goal line in the normal run of play---he is deemed still active and his position is counted as on the goal line...

makes no difference in this case as an offensive player has to have two players between himself and the goal if he is ahead of the ball...the scorer was not only behind the goalie but he himself came back from over the goal line before he made his touch...

karma I guess since Malaga's 2nd goal was offside as well...

but it does make you wonder why they have end line officials in these big games as they never call anything...
