I think that we have beat this thing to death. You and I fundamentally agree that the filing was misleading.

Why don't you call the lawyer and ask why he used "borrowed". You might learn something.

I know full well what the word "borrowed" means, thank you. I have "borrowed" money on a number of occasions. I recently secured a $5.6MM line of credit for my company. I have mortgaged several homes. I have financed several vehicles. In fact, I have gone to the closing table at least twice, only to have the deal fall through. It ain't "borrowed" until the deal closes, and the deal don't close until money changes hands.

Shoot. I even own an Unabridged Merriam-Webster Dictionary. I think that my definition of "borrowed" agrees nicely with the dictionary and the rest of the world. I don't need an NVEI lawyer defining words for me. But thank you for showing such concern for my linguistic well-being.
