I believe it's Elliot Favus, an "independent" who works for god knows who, who, I believe has a reputation as a hatchet man for the hedge funds.

If you believe what he is saying here, then you would have to conclude that Harvey and company have been lying to everyone in a massive way practically from the beginning...

I think this is just another instance of the AF function that we've already seen at work trying to increase the negative momentum to the max to benefit the shorts.

Apparently, it's been working to some degree.

It's this kind of unsubstantiated muck that's always circulating in the background when you have sell-offs like this.
