fuagf -- just keep in mind that the author's bhp is actually wheel hp, and the observations/points offered are well-enough taken -- with mine, the 15.5% drivetrain loss is known, repeatedly baselined, as the pieces in the car are routinely used in racing/high-power applications, and people engaged in such like to know such things in their eternal quest to minimize such losses while maintaining every last component's robust ability to handle power/loads/heat/stress
