Based on AAPL's recent filing(s) it seems they are nowhere close to settlement, which would make appeal almost a certainty

the question to me is: Will the announcement of an appeal add to selling, or slow it down and possibly stabilize/reverse the course?

(A somewhat inverse application of "buy the rumor/sell the news")
