The danger can come from both ends so the fact that there are two sets of logic here does not make one or the other right or wrong.

On one hand GZFX can make a huge leap on news... and if you are out at the time the only hope for you is to catch it as fast as you can... if you are off line at the time then you miss a huge opportunity for a serious gain.

on the other hand the stock could tank (for reasons we can not see until it is too late). Those who invested never taking any profit lose it all the hard way. So taking profits is simply protecting yourself.

What do i suggest? Simple, do both. Have a core set of shares that you hold for the long run. Have a second set of shares that you flip as the MMs play their games... and you know they will play their games! You could actually get good at it! BUT you have to lean how to time this stock, read the 5 minute charts and be at you PC at all times watching the market. If you can not do this then don't waste your time.
