Yes, it should have legs. The McClellan Osc readings on the spx are BIG bear fodder, however, but the osc is pertinent in the 1-3 day time frame, only. The summation and bpndx direction say "go, go" not to mention that we have a break-out, take no prisoners reading on the weekly ndx and nasdaq. I warned the bears about this last weekend, fwiw.

short term has gone from overbought to VERY overbought, and weekly is giving a clear up signal.

Has such a powerful rally ever had such a small vix response, and had most pundents become even more negative?
