While I agree the ruling on the JNOV will give a positive spike, but I strongly believe the myriad of possibilities regarding past and future revenues will be the major catalyst to cause the shorts to cover. If, for example, JJ affirms the infringement verdict as well as the past damages award, I suspect there will be additional downward pressure on the PPS until we have some clarification on the future royalty rate (which we are unlikely to have until late summer). That said, I further believe that the patient longs here will ultimately be rewarded with a PPS by EOY that exceeds $7. I anticipate this may disappoint many here, I'll take that rate of annual return anytime.
