Val texted me asking for details with which I am not willing to confirm until I have a bit more proof of his ability to provide a service. TO date I have met with two different providers, both of whom have sent representatives with actual product literature and an ability to discuss their offerings in full. In both cases, I was able to contact them via a phone number which is well advertised and well staffed.
I am open to attempting to get service from Val but not in a cloak and dagger fashion. My response to Val's text was:
"Val, as you know I am skeptical about your ability to deliver this service. The location is downtown and the top of the building has line of site to nearly anywhere you might put a radio dish. If you are sincere, I would need to know a lot more about the technology. We would require a minimum of 50 by 50 but could use 100 Mbps down (or more if available). I'm providing Internet, Voice and TV services to approximately 40 residential units and 90,000 sq ft of office space. I will give you more details once I have a full description of your technology."
So the ball is in his court. Let's meet somewhere that you can show me the technology Val. Send me some literature or have a sales rep call me (you have my number, it's the same one you texted).
