Lee, hello ...need a cataract [laser] operation in a few weeks

I had one eye done 1997 and the other about 5 years later. Perfect results with no complications both. 20-20 (with prescription for astigmatism). Procedure took only 15-20 minutes (after maybe an hour of prep and wait), easy. Many acquaintances identical results from the best eye surgeon in my city (120k population).

No regression or threat of such at age 85. Reading and computer monitor reading capability renewed to estimated age 20 level, wonderful.

If you have diabetes or risk factors for that disease, the sooner the better for the cataract problem. Be sure to advise the doctor of diabetes if applicable. He will know about the interactions. Not a great danger unless effects in the retina are already advanced, but special examination is required.

Recommended if using an experienced surgeon.
