sandeeps, >How can p&f indicators not change at all when the market rallies 11%+?<
It helps to understand PnF. The indicators DO change daily, but the STATUS does not. Ms.X. explained the bullish percent status names as shown below. This is not for day traders since it changes slowly and abruptly. Most PnF users look at candlesticks as well. The status is shown on top of the bp charts. Example http://www.stockcharts.com/webcgi/Pnf.asp?S=$BPNDX

Bull Alert: When a sector reverses up after falling BELOW the 30% level. This is the best positioning to buy in. Bullish.

Bull Confirmed: This is a "buy" signal. The index exceeds a previous column of X's. Bullish.

Bull Correction: A reversal down into O's from Bull Confirmed when index is BELOW the 70% level.

Bear Alert: A reversal into a column of O's from ABOVE the 70% level to BELOW the 70% level. Bearish signal.

Bear Confirmed: Exceeding a previous column of O's, a "sell" signal.

Bear Correction: A reversal back up into X's when an index is in Bear Confirmed status while the index is above the 30% level.
