I merely pointed out that at this point posting about it was a waste of bandwidth.

BnB, that's not true. It's not BS to post about the LIES that we were all sold on that war. NOR is it BS to forget about the ONES who lost their lives, guess why? because we were LIED to, and so were THEY about any 'need' to go and die in Iraq. Further, the ramifications of that war crime, and by the way, IT IS a war crime. all of them could be tried at the Hague. They are war criminals and that is why bush has cancelled trips to Israel and Canada .. and of course cheney keeps his butt in Montana or wherever it is .. Getting back to the ramifications.. Iran and Iraq hated each other . .now? they are best buds, Syria? Sadaam spat on them too, Al Qaeda? He also spit on them . .. NOW both of those groups are in Iraq... and welcome. Plus, they are going into Syria to kill other people, that's their specialty. In no way, was Sadaam a good man but we did not go over there for regime change! .. YES, we were lied to about that too. (because we really did for some odd reason) .. Israel is less safe today than it was ten years ago... plus it's enemies have new friends that bush/cheney/rumsfeild/powell,feith,wolfwitz, et. al. ..had so much fun putting together ! .. and those new enemies of Israel would be Iran/Iraq joined together and now Syria. The children in Falleujai (however, you spell it) are being born horribly deformed .. many children lost their families .. both here and there ........many many more there! .. . and just one more darn reason to talk about it and remember it! .. Is so maybe .. .just maybe! ... the dumb fecks who voted for those war criminals twice won't be so stupid again .. but really it's for the entire country ... to see and find out just exactly How their Government is capable of lying to them (the gulf of tonkin) and killing their own people and most assuredly many many others ... ! .. AND to SHAME the PRESS! .. AND the NYT! .. AND the WAPO ... and Tom Friedman and all the other professionals that were a part of it ... We must Never FORGET!
