Yes, I have seen the C.O.D. Mine mentioned in more than one offering by "mining companies" in the last couple years. A quick Google search shows USCN in 2009 (which is the company that commissioned the not-so-compliant 43-101), a company called Silver Horn Mining (2011), and another company called Applied Resource Science which currently has a whole website devoted to the C.O.D. Mine.

I see that the C.O.D. mine is close (a mile) to Mercator's Mineral Park Mine, and there is some hype about the C.O.D. possibly overlying extensions of the Mineral Park porphyry system. Who knows, maybe there is some relationship, but this is just another of hundreds of washed up old mines, with some documented production, but not a chance in hell of it ever producing again (given the current environmental rules). Just like the Azurite Mine that GDSM and WSRA were (are?) promoting.
