No, that's not how contracts work. If there were contingencies, Amarant would not HAVE an interest, they would have a deal to acquire an interest.
Think of it this way. If I sign a contract to buy a house, but pay no money, I don't get to move in.
If Amarant didn't already have the 85% interest, free of any additional responsibilities, they could not claim it and SURELY Medinah would not let it stand if they tried to.
There's a reason the details of the deal have never been made public and the major terms have.
