can anyone tell me what/who the Fed is?
they print money, based on what? what are they backing this printed money with? asset or collateral? in order to charge interest, I assume it must be asset back. If not then a fraud has been committed because they are giving us something that is worthless backed by nothing, correct>
If so, then who gets the interest money from the worthless pieces of paper that are basically worth ink and paper, not the valued placed ON the bill since there is no asset backing or establishing worth.
I ask, what if there is a default from the person owing, namely all of us? what asset is foreclosed on to establish payment? Are they going to collect so many people in the US as payment for the default?
Also, where does the interest go? TO whom or what? Are they paying interest income taxes on this, if so how and to whom is the payments made? And are they made with the same worthless printed money?
Seems to me that we are being forced to borrow something that is worthless and then paying interest on the borrowed funds to someone or something.
As I way off base here>?
