You are right about the piece of paper - who needs it when you are both happy and content? As I age, my thoughts about marriage have changed. Of course, when you aren't in any long term relationship as I am right now, I don't really give it much thought.

Just be happy that you have someone who loves and cares for you and vice versa. I have to say that I am a bit jealous - I have looked for "Mr. Right" for many years - all I find is "Mr. Right Now". It has its benefits, but not nearly as many as you and your honey have.

Just out of curiosity - how long have you been together? (If that is too personal, just tell me "none of your business")
