They mined what they could and sold it as well as they could.

It's too early to know if SRSR cost or quality will favorably compete with the others. Based on the CBMM story they are selling billion a year add in the other suppliers and it could be several billion, you don't have to replace all of them to gain market share if your quality is higher or your costs are cheaper of if just your customer service is better? Happens every day.

Time will tell what the future is here and clearly people are lined up with their checkbooks or a deal would have closed years ago,

The fact that it hasn't yet happened doesn't mean it can't. Nor is it a guaranteed given. My personal view is it will eventually and I am betting a lot of money on my opinion.
