Not that's there's anything wrong with the Michael Moore approach... unless showing all those guys whining about their missing arms and legs and vision is making the righteous uncomfortable.
Maybe the real difference between the tough talk of a guy like Murtha and the tough talk of a wannabe, like Baghdad Hap, is that Murtha understands pain, and fear and bloodshed, while Hap is just pining for the glory he missed out on in the early 1940s and the glory he apparently opted out of in the early 1950s. (Opting out on the glory seems a common thread in the neo-con movement)
Maybe it takes someone to actually show us severed limbs and people being thrown off the VA system and out into the streets... now that their freshness dates have expired.
Maybe in this case sensationalism just requires showing the truth.
Maybe nothing more is required save the naked and the obvious. Paul Bremer declared,"Iraq is open for business." That long line of coffins we weren't allowed to see,and those limbs belong to the young men and women who paid for that.
