"Regarding OCM's and Authorized distributors: Many of the largest OCM's and Authorized distributors buy from the 'open market. Hundreds of Independent Distributor databases prove it. I personally worked at an Independent Distributor for 15 years and my largest customers was a large Authorized/Franchised distributors. I've also sold to large OCM's who bought back their own product from the 'open market'. Perhaps Lansdale does not, but plenty others do.
There are also independent and Government studies showing counterfeits at large OCM's and large Authorized distributors internationally; granted, the vast majority of counterfeits come from the Independent channels, the statement that none come from Authorized and OCM is false."
