They didn't ask me...but it would take a huge effort to port ARM stuff for the benefit of maybe a year or so production. That cost would be much better put to use in just moving to x86 including some sort of emulation as was done in the PPC to Intel move.

I think the effort to fab ARM would be a waste of time and money for both Apple and Intel.
