Pierre Taillefer, son of the Chairman, has been cooperating with the company since its onset. He has a long and varied business experience both nationally and internationally. An airline pilot by profession with a strong business education, he has run an airline company in Africa for many years until he moved to China, sent there by Air Canada to be an instructor on the Airbus for Chinese and foreign pilots in their fast expanding market. He has been in charge of all expedition and freight services for AQUAGOLD from the beginning. Now that he is stationed in China and has numerous business contacts opportunity, he has developed a strong network in the Asian market in the south of China and has taken over as our representative in China.
i think this is not a bad thing...last couple ceos seemed to have taken the commpany for a ride...taillefer is the only constant here...so why not keep it in the family...maybe they can make it work...
i like that he has air canada contacts, maybe that can make shipments easier, he may have some inside help...lived in china is another bonus... i can see this working, lets hope for the best
