The Pentium bug was covered by 10 minute discussions on all major national networks, since Intel initially argued that most users would not be affected by the bug, and for a replacement users would have to specify the software on which a problem was noticed. Finally on national news Intel acknowledged its mistake and said that all Pentiums would be replaced immediately with no questions asked.The Pentium bug also became a subject of several jokes circulated for years. Cry your heart out Barcleona!
