very simply

one of these brilliant scientists working in the fields related to geology and astronomy disprove the age of the world indeed, the age of the solar system, and bring that age down to plus or minus 12,000 years

and then no time for evolution

evolution as we see it today took 100s of millions of years

eliminate those years

evolution as we see it today is a dead-end
