Zenus, I think you're right about getting to the market first would declare a front runner. I admit I don't know squat about codecs. Centronite was kind enough to give me and a lot of other posters some good information on source codes. I, like everyone else here am excited that they have the funding to hire the ten new programmers. This should give TMMI's time to market a great boost.

The codec issue (BTW, I'm a long time holder of TMMI stock) I brought up due to my findings during my due diligence after TMMI stated that they bought the one asset from DFI.....which as we know was VDK 2.0. I became involved in some meetings in the early 2000's where DFMI was in possession (transferred from DFI)of this codec and TMMI was excited about it. They actually put out joint releases inviting potential customers/investors to view the video samples. Supposedly, as I was told by some TMMI management, way back when, the 1.0 was for still pictures and the 1.4 was for CDrom applications. The VDK 2.0 was for video. This is what I remember. BTW, who stated that this 2.0 codec was only for Silicon Graphic computers?

Then on 11/11, the new TMMI team stated that they were excited with what VDK 2.0 could do for them. Then in the 7/24/12 release they state that they bought it from DFI to retire it. This still seems strange. Why would they do that to retire it? Why would they be excited about it and try to buy an asset that had been transferred to another company some 10 to 11 years earlier? That's my only question in all of this. That plus the expired patents when other posters keep stating "TMMI's patented technology."

Now watch some people come and say I'm not sincere. Some will question whether I own stock in the other company. That's OK, I can handle that. Is someone a traitor if they own AAPL and Samsung both? How about the insincere investor that would have the audacity to own AAPL and GOOG at the same time? WOW! If I owned the other company's stock, and if they PRd something I thought was circumspect, I would challenge that also. Wouldn't any of you?
