St George Mining unveils major JORC resource

St George Mining Ltd executive chairman John Prineas talked with Proactive about the company's newly announced maiden JORC resource, which he says could be among the world’s most significant niobium and rare earth deposits. Prineas said the deposit features over 500 intercepts of high-grade mineralisation and boasts a rare combination of high grades and shallow mineralisation starting at surface, supporting an open pit development. “We think, possibly the second highest niobium deposit in terms of grade and, probably one of the highest rare earth deposits,” he told Proactive. He confirmed the company has already seen interest from industry players, with some expressing interest in potential partnerships and even mergers. The resource was released following St George’s acquisition of the project in late February, and the company has committed to a drill program starting in the coming weeks. According to Prineas, this program could potentially double the existing resource. In Brazil, St George has assembled an experienced in-country team and engaged a global EPC contractor to progress mine development. Tamboran Resources boosts NT gas supply with Arafura deal

Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran’s strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We’re a Northern Territory company. We’ve been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I’ve been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon. Titan Mining reports record 2024 production, expands resources

Titan Mining President Rita Adiani joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s year-end results, highlighting record production and strong financial performance in 2024. The company met the upper end of its production guidance, while costs were 10% lower than the low end of its all-in sustaining cost (AISC) guidance. In Q4 2024, Titan Mining produced 21.7 million pounds of payable zinc, marking a 56% increase compared to Q4 2023. Total full-year 2024 production reached 59.5 million pounds. The company also posted Q4 revenues of $26.3 million, representing a 318% increase from Q3 2024 and a 241% increase from Q4 2023. Adiani also shared updates on the company’s mineral resource expansion, noting that Titan completed an updated mineral resource estimate and extended the mine life for ESM’s zinc operations until 2033. The updated estimate reports a 22% increase in measured and indicated contained zinc pounds compared to the 2020 resource estimate. In addition to its zinc operations, Titan completed a maiden mineral resource estimate for the Kilbourne Graphite Project. Itaconix CEO on 2025 strategy and profitability goals

Itaconix PLC (AIM:ITX, OTCQB:ITXXF) CEO John Shaw joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company’s progress following its strategic restructuring and to discuss what lies ahead for 2025. Shaw highlighted that the company ended 2024 with strong momentum, achieving nearly $3.7 million in revenue in the second half, marking one of its highest-ever earnings periods. The restructuring initiative focused on enhancing profitability, with a significant emphasis on reshaping the customer base.
