Profound sense of Deja-vu. Most of US manufacturing got out-sourced to Japan in the 70's,and then eventually the Japanese brands became the premier brands and the US manufacturers just faded away.Taiwan, China and Korea are doing the same. Lenovo and Taiwanese brands have become the premier brands and Dell and HP are in the death spiral.

Apple needs to get away from manufacturing its chips at Samsung. Hopefully they will move to Intel.
