I LOVE it when a sponsoring company shares open label trial info (and wish more chose to do so as it is the right of the sponsor company to choose level of sharing of data in phI open label trial). Here is a CEO sharing important clinical data with us and it looks great, as did the preclinical data. Stable disease at lowest dose in cohort one, with improvement of biomarkers, well tolerated, low toxicity, no serious adverse events and no DLT. InVivo dose equivalent that showed 100% survival not yet reached in human study - but cohort 3 coming soon and in that cohort the 0.375mg/kg dose will be reached. Speculation: We WILL see marked efficacy in cohort three.
Did anyone else here hear Dr. Brown say, in minute 19:45 of 2/7/13 presentation "We think we can use this same approach to essentially deal with any cancer."? I believe him. All cancers have specific over expression and under expression of proteins. His drug technology reverses that process, preventing the continued over expression of a protein sustaining the life of a cancer cell and reversing the process intracellularly, allowing the cell to die and not proliferate. Noncancerous cells remain unharmed, because the drug is created to be perfectly specific to the protein expressed by the cancer cells only...Beautiful!
