No, it may appear that I do as you suggest, but I try to be very careful to let Scripture interpret itself. I consider the whole of Scripture to be authoritative and to be obeyed and reject none of it. That obedience is at times hard to do and not what I would choose to do on my own, but I try to be obedient to the word of God.

"Liberal" theology is a well accepted name for a particular view of Scripture and not just terminology I made up. There are several other theological systems and views of Scripture with which I disagree that are not "liberal", such the dominionism often mentioned here and amillennialism, a system where prophesy is spiritualized to transfer the promises God made to Israel to the Church, which is a serious error of interpretation, in my opinion.
