OT-Chile or Argentina? Aconcagua is dangerous too, but not so technically difficult. There are a number of volcanoes in the Atacama region that are that high, without much of an ice pack and without the need for anything more than an ice axe and crampons. I did El Misti in Peru several years ago, but it's only 19,000 and it was still the hardest thing I've ever done.
