Let's figure out the value of this in terms of worse case scenario. Let's say it's the $5B figure (that becomes usable March 2014). Since the only real value is to be used for tax deduction (which may not equate to that much in the first year or even the first few years depending on who acquires the NOLs), my point is it may take years for the acquirer to utilize the full value of the NOLs. Secondly, using them is tricky, difficult and risky if you remember, so potential acquirers would not do so without careful planning, great effort and a little trepidation.
My point to all this is that if we get "bawt out (lol)" at that time, we may have to offer a discount...something possibly to the tune of $4B. If that was the case, each share would equate to $20 approx. And if that's the case, I guess I can wait for that:)
But I'm probably missing all kinds of relevant info in this fantasy equation...
