I have not traded options for 1.5 years or more. Takes too large a move to usually pay off. The odds favor the options writers that own the shares the options are written against. It is easy to sell call options, and buy puts when you own huge stock positions like a hedge fund or mutual fund, and make scandalous profits dumping the shares to complete the deal. But at the right time these biotechs can make huge double swings, way up then way down, ripe for people like us I think. One smart thing to do is watch MaxPain numbers on options as a signal as the where individual stocks may be heading!!!
