The new 8-K is no big deal---simply a corporate code of conduct. In addition to setting out a standard ethics code for corporate business “associates”, it clears away a hurdle that may otherwise have prevented some institutional investors from putting their money into the company. Some management funds and institutions have a policy of only investing in companies that have a corporate code of business ethics. If nothing else, this is just a good business move.
