The 10b5 plans put a mental ceiling on the stock price. Why should I buy shares and hold over $4 if management does not believe enough in the company to hold onto them at $4.25? VRNG is a new company in a very speculative arena. Insiders selling shares at the company's early stage sends a horrible message to would be shareholders. The 10b5 plans don't necessarily flood the market with shares, they put in a mental selling point for shareholders which then becomes a crowded resistance level.
